People who identify as having no religious affiliation has been a growing category. Until recently. For the time being, this percentage of the population seems to have leveled out at 20%.

Tracks that have over 1 billion streams on Spotify. Something to keep in mind is the recency bias which ties into the fact that Spotify (and streaming in general) remains a newer form of listening. Music from decades ago is going to have a tough time competing with the tracks on regular rotation from the last few years. As of 2022, Spotify’s platform has about 1/3 of the streaming market. That leaves 2/3 not covered. Still, 33% is a large sample size.
