Sizzlin’ 7s

Sizzlin’ 7s
You’ve heard of the sonnet.
You may have heard of the demi-sonnet(credit: Erin Murphy)

Sizzlin’ 7s probably sounds more like a slot machine game…because it is.
(Note: I do not encourage gambling.)
The Sizzlin’ 7s I’m looking for are free verse 7-line poems that are naturally seven lines. I mean that they are not forced.
If the poem doesn’t conform to seven lines, write the poem the way it wants to unfold on the page.
I’ll be on the lookout for Sizzlin’ 7s submissions to ONE ART: a journal of poetry with special interest as, I think, the 7-line format has something unique to offer.
