Submit an essay for consideration.
I'm interested in a wide range of topics. Haven’t you noticed?
I’m especially interested in essays about poetry, literature, the literary community, the poetry community, micro reviews of poetry collections, visual art, photography, philosophy, worthwhile podcasts, good music, micro reviews of "must see" films, behavioral economics, neuroscience, social psychology, contemporary ethical concerns, issues surrounding poverty, homelessness, class issues, LGBTQ+ community issues, feminism, raising good boys/men, AI fears and potential, global perspectives, climate science, exciting scientific frontiers (presented in a digestible framework for lay readership), the shifting nature of Higher Ed, cultural anthropology, and the list goes on.
I'd love to receive essays on the broad theme of "the importance of staying curious".
How long should my piece be?
It depends.
When I say “micro”, I’m thinking up to 1000 words.
Preference towards pieces up to 2500 words (give or take).
I’m open to long reads. A piece should be as long as it needs to be.
What is NOT being published:
No reprints.
No political opinion pieces (aka. rants).
No religious rants (you know what I mean). Don’t preach.
Hopefully, you already know better than to send me something deeply offensive. If you’re “wondering” if your piece might be extremely offensive to [insert minority group / commonly scapegoated group], it probably is.
Additional details TBD.

I like curious, the opposite of authoritarian.
