I agree. I love my local library. I also contribute my used books that I don't read at all anymore to the little community box borrowing library down the street from where I live.

This is a good point. We have to show need. And need for books on history, race, all that infory that some would rather be erased.

I know a .small town children's librarian who catches himself self-censoring. This started several years ago, due to the parents -flipping-out-about -books -theyve -never - seen movement. He felt (feels) personally vulnerable in a purple town also because he has two kids and a husband
