Remember when you were a kid and receiving mail was pure joy?
Back then, a good portion of your mail was not bills.
For the writers, I hope you already receive enjoyable mail semi-often in the form of books.
For most of us, packages. But we knew they were on the way.

That’s wonderful, and that takes work.

Consider your audience.
If you’re mailing memes to writers, maybe they are not just memes (wink, nod). This is a great opportunity to share fodder for ekphrastic writing prompts.

I just sent some "poetry postcards" to a writer I know on social media. He'd made the request to help celebrate a new home and new stability, and it gave me joy to do. I'll try to do more, unsolicited. A great idea!
This is a charming idea, Mark, especially for friends who (with far greater self-control than I possess) are not on social media.
