I was a little burned out on volunteering at the time because there weren’t many members and our section was very active. I felt like I was volunteering every weekend,. Not to be a whiner, but it was a little difficult at the time.We registered voters, made visits to constituents, worked at food banks… If anything like that starts back up again, I will join with the hopes that there will be more members this time to cover all the bases. We weren’t allowed to say we were against Trump.

I'd actually like to talk to people who voted for Trump but are not frothing-at-the-mouth MAGA types. I've starting to realize how siloed I am, and people are in general, and that such a large % of the population did vote for this man... I'd like to actually hear what they are thinking if they can form coherent statements on the matter.
I have spoken with almost no one who admits that they voted for Trump and want to talk to me about this in an open and honest way. What are they seeing that I "can't understand"?
